To all accounts a lovely man. To have one great career is admirable but to have two is phenomenal. Another fabric of our lives departed but never forgotten. Condolences and thoughts with his family and friends. Rest in peace.

Grew up watching Saint and Greavsie. Always thought his humour and integrity shone through.

He’s had a good innings and a seemedly peaceful death, surrounded by his family. Not a bad way to go.

He’s with Virgil now. RIP.
