May I pass on my deepest sympathy to the friends and family of the gentleman who collapsed, and sadly died during the first half of tonight's game against Newcastle. Sitting in Row E of the West Stand Level 2, Aisle 223, I was saddened by this tragic episode and it left my son in tears on the journey home.

Whoever you are, RIP my blue friend!!

My wife straddled over me, or there. It's a close call.

But RIP blue. Buy Foe a pint for me. It'll be my round at some point.

he was sat pretty much exactly behind me.

did not look well at all, lookd like he had a stroke, everyone had to move so the paramedics could get him out.
he was an elderly man, and apparently someone who sits near me says he was a really top bloke.

i did not know he had died though,

comiserations to his family, the guy looked like he had had a good innings, im sure he would have liked it to happen watching the blues.
