Nope…..is metered water compulsory these days?
same bucket?A bucket to shit in
A bucket to piss in
And a bucket for drinking water.
What can go wrong they said ?
You dirty old man ..
You are from Lincolnshire and I claim my prize of a bar of Wrights coal tar soap4 showering everyday?
There’s your problem, have baths and all share the same water…..
Been doing it years mate no issues at all.Good luck with that at the height of summer mate!
No unless it’s a new build.is metered water compulsory these days?
Because the Scaffold said so.He turns it inside out on alternate days.
I’m intrigued why ‘wash day’ is either Monday or Thursday though!
So the posters suffering high bills are all in post 1990 built properties or have elected to have meters installed - presumably no going back for that group? No unless it’s a new build.
It’s been compulsory to put water meters in new builds for years.
Another dirty pedo
No my house is 60s but its in a high council tax band. For me it was £2k a year unmetered or £612 on a water meter. I can think of better things to do with nearly £1400.So the posters suffering high bills are all in post 1990 built properties or have elected to have meters installed - presumably no going back for that group?
I think you need to re read the thread mate.So the posters suffering high bills are all in post 1990 built properties or have elected to have meters installed - presumably no going back for that group?
Do you all pay the same rates? We got our new water bill last Friday it’s now £78 per month we bought an ex- council house a good few years ago , as did our neighbours, they pay on average £45 per month as I say we’re now paying £78 .
Yesterday I phoned UU to ask why for years we’ve been paying nearly half as much as everyone on my row. I wasn’t happy with the answer so I arranged for a bill manager to ring me today which to be fair he did .
He went on about the rateable value of the building in 1990 !! So I asked it’s the same build as all my neighbours?? His reply… honestly was “ it must of looked a lot nicer than the others who share your your postcode “ so the assessment people thought the ex owners were more affluent. This happened on the phone this afternoon. I’m not leaving this here I’ll keep fighting it. I told the UU bill manager we all have the same houses ?? His only answer was “ we want everyone on a metre “. Unbelievable it’s like being means tested for water.
Still can not get my head round this.
Yes mate if you mean council tax we pay the same , there’s literally no difference in any of the houses . Those who I know well enough to ask what they pay for water they all pay the same except us. It baffles me totally this .Do you all pay the same rates?
