Just heard the devasting news that City icon Tony Book has sadly passed away aged 90, a man who has been there, seen it and done it all at City while having a huge impact on so many young players careers with his mentorship and advice, not just in football but in life also.

Manchester City, and the football world has lost a true legend in this man today who always had time for a chat and a story.

RIP Skip you will be truly missed and now back playing good cop and bad cop with Glyn Pardoe. Condolences to his family and friends.

RIP skip, an absolute legend of our club
Only this.

I was introduced to him when he became caretaker manager for a full members cup game against Forest. My dad's hero.

If anyone deserves the title Mr Manchester City it's him. RIP
