Sad news but he lived a great life and had a great innings... 90 years and as far as I know still very active until recently
He played and captained the last great team we had and saw the lot as a club ambassador through the clubs greatest era

A great loss to so many.
The mans very blood runs blue, the title of Mr Manchester City was never more deserved, player, captain, manager, scout, youth team coach, leader, winner, legend.
Now joined the ever increasing number of past legends on the great football pitch in the afterlife where he will be honoured as one of the greats of our club.
A fond farewell Skip, you lived a long and productive life to become a footballing legend at Manchester City Football Club. Rest in Peace now, we that are left will respectfully celebrate your life and your memory and I offer my sincerest condolences to your immediate family and all those in your extended family at City.
