RIP Tony Rowan

There will definitely be a big turnout. His birthday last November about 200 city lads turned up at the albert in rusholme to see him. He was a real city character. Had many a good night out with him, especially in the cyprus tavern were he wasnt shy on letting the utd fans in there know who he supported.
 
Hard pressed to of known a sounder Blue than Ro, they just aren't made like that anymore, his animated beamin smile back in the Albert after the 6-1 will be forever etched in my mind.

Too many memories and great times had in his company to mention...

I have known so many people face trials and tribulations but Anthony really was thee exception, one of life's true battlers.

Gone but will never be forgotten

As it stands Tony Rowan's funeral will be at the Sacred Heart Church,Levenshulme Rd,Gorton,M18 7WJ on Thursday 17th September 2015 9-30 a.m. onwards. The wake will be held at the Albert,Rusholme
 
I new about his illness but you always think with a character like Rowans, well it is just a bit of a handicap and he will be ok. My mate Sharps told me on Friday and it blew me away such sad news.
I will be there to raise a few glasses for him and remember the away days with the persil tickets and railcards etc...... Oh not to forget the platform tickets.
