If a 100 year old had the mantra “we don’t leave until the final whistle is blown”, all the other early leavers with their daft excuses (we all know you really just want to get home for Britain’s Got The X Factor) look a bit silly.

Very sad news. RIP Vera. A fair chance she was at the famous 1934 Stoke match. There can't be many (if any) of that 84,000 crowd still with us.

She was mate, just seen a belting article about her by SB in the muen, she was indeed there v Stoke
