The nation stops for Rememberance Sunday. I know the death toll was much larger, but lives were still lost. This was a black day for football and an even worse day for Liverpool. Surely if 96 City fans were crushed to death, you'd do a minute silence every year to remember them, and make a huge song and dance, wouldn't you?Immaculate Pasta said:levets said:??? Making a big deal of it every year and constantly bringing it up. They should never be forgotten but the families can never move on as it's always in their face what happend two decades ago, always on their mind, constantly listening to the stories every year about what happend, bringing the memories back again.
21 years have passed now, i just wished they both (fans and police) accepted that they were both to blame and remember the horrible tradegy quietly every time the anniversary passes instead of this grand hoo hah they produce every year.

Of course we would but blaming everyone but themselves for Heysel leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.
