Stephen Kinnock brought it up this morning on Sky News, saying that if an appointment was missed then they’d be struck off the list, which does seem a very strange way to manage such cases.

He was also asked about whether Labour would use the barges, to which he replied in the affirmative as they will be assessed as safe and a legitimate short term capability while claims are actively being processed.

So, that begs the question of if an asylum seeker, housed on the barge, is kicked out onto the street if they miss an appointment?
