Rishi Sunak

Even better than that. He’s also said this.

"It's better for the climate to have supply here at home, rather than shipping it here from half way around the world, with two, three, four times the amount of carbon emissions."

Whilst we know he’s talking bollocks and virtually none of the oil and gas will stay here, let’s assume for a minute, he’s correct. He’s therefore explained why the ‘trade deal’ he’s just signed with countries very far away, is complete madness.
I didn’t think it was possible but I think he might just be a bit more duplicitous than Johnson….

As mentioned before, I think Sunak set out to be a force for good but, as with all Tories of this generation, he’s been overcome by the far-right of the party and his own needs to hold ’power’.

He‘s far more of a thinking person than Johnson and where Johnson would tell a fib and then perpetuate it, Sunak is now actively forcing the lie which makes him even more dangerous.

However, I was listening to the Conservative Home rep today on the radio and even he could not bring himself to condone what Sunak was doing and rightfully called him out as being shallow and superficial. That’s how I started my previous post on the subject.
