Rishi Sunak

Isn’t a lot of it the back payments due for salary inequality?

All councils are profligate. They are also not the same as the political parties that the share their names with.

I don’t know the percentage of councils that are running at a loss now, but my guess is that it’s above 75%.

Not quite that percentage but a hell of a lot of all hues

maybe this is the reason

Think what you just wrote in your last sentence and realise how idiotic it is.

How do you know if it isn’t being reported?
The Crime Survey for England and Wales (CSEW) includes crimes that are not reported to, or recorded by, the police. Here's the idiotic government stats:

That suggests crimes have decreased.... but the reliability of the stats is less certain:

This is the stat about police giving a crime number but not investigating crimes (and therefore not solving them):

For the year ending March 2023, 5.7 percent of crime offences resulted in a charge or summons in England and Wales. While this was an improvement when compared with the previous four quarters, it was far lower than in the first quarter of 2015, when 15.5 percent of crimes were solved.

Not a great leader but Stramer will not be much better.
I don't bother voting to be honest
The country has gone to the dogs.
Boat loads of illegals on a daily basis, corrupt politicians and crime out of control.

If you don't vote you are not really entitled to have an opinion or to complain about the state of things.

Can't understand why you bothered coming on this thread if you are not going to take part in the democratic process

Plus If "they are all the same" then there's no reason not to vote for Starmer is there?

On that logic you have no reason not to vote labour, the worst that can happen is they are the same.

There is always the possibility that they will be better than this lot who have proved themselves to be incompetent, divisive and corrupt
