what is the point of Sunak? He makes an announcement on the steps of Downing Street then immediately shows there is no honesty and integrity in what his Govt is doing. He has manifesto and other commitments that when they come under threat from "rebel" MP's he folds like a cardboard box. Nimby's are cowed to because they don't want houses in their constituencies - on shore wind ban is reversed because of pressures from within - he won't go to COP then there he is........ he must still have a majority of 70 but has zero backbone and zero credibility - Xmas will save him for now but when the gas bills hit when the Mone scandal breaks out when the Covid investigations starts revealing stuff he will probably wish he still had that Green Card so he can stand down and fuck off

This lot were elected on the single issue of defeffel and his extremely silly hair and of course he was going to ‘get brexit done’.
Well, we all know how that went - and is still going.
Once that cretin got found out, the only path for them was to attempt to distance themselves from his cynical lying, and bizarrely they figured that a lurch to the right and the ludicrous truss woman along with her strange colleague and her extremist free-market views were going to save their credibility, and distract from their previous misdeeds and malfeasance.

I know!!!….Appoint a man who had previously been rejected by his own party to lead his own party!
He was of course, pretty much all they had left, and the notion that he was neither johnson nor truss was, they hoped, going to be enough to fool the great unwashed.
