Rishi Sunak

He walked into a complete sinking ship with the Tories
He’s not great - but against Boris and most of the others - at least he seems a bit more respectable

so now he is snubbing their core support - he really doesn't expect to win does he?

He currently playing silly **** in Belfast. 'Negotiating' something the Irish media reported weeks ago has been privately agreed.

I watched Sunak for 90 minutes or so tonight, justifying his new agreement. I am no tory, but I couldn't help admiring his performance in the House of Commons and his mastery of the brief, as he answered question after question. I've always thought he was pretty good, but I felt tonight that he excelled. Also, the mere naming of the Windsor Agreement and the Stormont Brake are impressive titles we'll hear constantly in the coming months.

I think he'll get this over the line, but whether he'll get the DUP to go back into government in Northern Ireland, I'm not so sure - I hope so, as I'd love there to be some stability there for a few years - hopefully lasting.

To quote King Theoden, "And so, it begins." Again!

Sunak was always the best thing for the country as, as his Chancellor policies saw, showed that he is more moderate compared to a certain Tory group who want us divided.

This deal was always on the table. Only for Johnson and and the ERG crew, we could have the best of both worlds.

The forgotten 3 million self employed who he ignored during Covid would question his "brilliant" Chancellorship

Not a fan of his but it appears he was possibly the only adult in Johnson's Cabinet

He was an ardent Leaver however and campaigned for Leave................. I suspect working so closely with Johnson through lockdown he got to see what a whopper he was so woke up and smelled the coffee and realised on taking over he needed to demonstrate he could read a room. Unlikely to massively reverse polls but could lessen the number of lost seats
