Rishi Sunak

Shouldn't be a one-off, though, as if he is so named in the House, by anyone, he has a right to redress. Hoyle had only just intervened so was probably not paying close attention, which does not excuse the clerks at the table.

Sunak used the name deliberately because 'Corbyn' has a cache with certain voters which Member for Islington North does not, but he's going to look increasingly ridiculous if he relies on that trope when the country's finances are in such a mess and he was at the helm for most of the time.
Hoyle wasn't there at the time. What's he said since?

the tories still the "letter left in the treasury" 12 years on so they don't mind talking shite and looking ridiculous to a serious follower of politics if they think generally people will look past the stupidity and latch on to the cliché

letter in the treasury
corbyns the marxist
get brexit done/project fear
anti growth alliance

nonsensical bollocks turned to usable tag lines

Which is one of the reasons I think Labour should be doing everything to focus attention on the o derivative destruction of the economy and not be distracted by other matters (immigration/Tory infighting).

I really don’t know why this antiquated convention of not calling other members liars is so slavishly observed. Call him a liar and deal with the consequences. The current convention has caused us to have a lying political class and needs to be stridently challenged.

Think we’re speaking at cross purposes. I’m referring to Wednesday’s PMQs when Sunak used Corbyn’s surname and Hoyle was in his seat.
We are, but you said Hoyle intervened. What did he say on Wednesday?
