Well there's no real need to assume that's the case until we see any evidence. That Sam Lee article is just packed full of assumptions. He's hardly going to be pleased about the lack of game time. So long as he's willing to work hard to earn his place though then there's absolutely no problem with that. When Sam Lee has good information you can usually tell. There are also occasions where he dresses his assumptions and opinions up as fact and that looks to be the case here.

I saw Pep's last press-conference and had a sneaking suspicion myself. It may not be true, of course.

I didn't write him off, I just read the posts and tbh, although I'm not a big fan of Mahrez especially based on his performances to date I was a little surprised at the amount of posters who haven't been impressed by him.

Sorry but I dont think the fee is irrelevant either. City have spent a significant portion of their seasons budget on Mahrez. He needs to start performing.
