1. Faster.
2. Younger.
2. Counts as league homegrown.
3. Has attributes that complement our playstyle and existing players better.
4. Is a superb crosser and dribbler.
Mahrez may have a slight edge technically in terme of passing but the gap the small. He is a great set piece taker but that alone isnt enough. We shoulda been all out for Zaha instead of Mahrez but we backed the wrong horse. Zaha would have been an outstanding complement to Sane with him on one side and Sane on the other.
Mahrez is a good player, he just doesn't suit us and that has always been my argument.
