Never thought in my lifetime again I would be seeing us hold the title aloft twice after 68 and the time under Merson and Allison was over.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Dream world, especially for those who remember us being in the third tier.

I still listened to and subsequently watched every defeat form afar and after getting a deserved tongue lashing from the better half and wanting to kick the younger ones out of bed etc wanting to give up on this Club never to return to them again I came to my senses knowing it was going to be much the same next match.

Other than family , good friends , good food and good love City take us through those emotions you don't often get in life that keep you younger than you otherwise would be when all is said and done.

And with that Lets rip into WBA with Mahrez watching in the stands.

£70m is a bit much (unless you think Coutinho/Lukaku/etc are fair value, in which case it's very reasonable), but I guess that figure reflects the fact that it's very late on in the window. I'm astonished that Leicester and even willing to negotiate. With Nasri's contract terminated, we can always bring him back until the end of the season if a deal can't be done.

Is it just me or does this transfer saga has the same traits as the sanchez debacle (by arses, not us) in the summer?
