And what do you mean he looks out of shape? Can he not put his top on properly without stretching it first?

How many of our current guys are really divas though? To his level of skipping practices? No definitely doesn’t need to be an Adams Traore but almost everyone left in the team clearly puts in a little effort.

But Pep doesn’t like Africans, haha. No doubt if Pep wants him I’m sure he’ll fit somewhere. He might be extremely grateful to finally make it to a big club.

He was actually praised for his attitude during the summer window, turning up to training all through August while the likes of Sanchez and van Djik refused to play. It was only during the end of the winter window when he finally lost patience and started trying to force things.

A few on here have said this is already done mate(even got a shirt number)...only delay is the international friendlies. You think we still got work to do before this deal is sorted?

France play on Saturday and Fekir is supposed to be having his medical today or tomorrow. Somehow it's always City when players are waiting for international matches to be over or some fucker is on holiday. I don't buy that bullshit.

as much as I rate mahrez I cant get my head around how similar he is to bernardo ,and if I'm honest I rate bernardo over mahrez ,maybe pep is going to move bernardo into the middle or mahrez as a false 9,or sterling more into the middle, eureka ! he will give us many options and if I don't know how we are going to line nobody else will, he's a genius that pep.

I remember we allowed for Alves to go on leave for his marriage , naively confident on his word . As he is a grade A twat he shafted us and signed for PSG - which did turn out well tbf with us getting the decent Danilo.

Only thing I can think of justifying the delay was France wanted it sorted quickly as did fekir apparently. Maybe jorginho as there is no world cup for him , knows there is a bit of time for a holiday.

Plus hopefully he isn't a twat like Alves
 
With mahrez being classed as African and the whole Yaya shit storm it would be a great time to announce this deal

We have no idea if the club were naive with respect to Alves. Doubt he was stood there with a pen ready to sign and we said to him "oh don't bother signing anything til you're back off your hols." If he said he was going to sign on his return, I don't see that we had much choice other than to accept that and hope for the best. We couldn't force him to do it any more quickly. We clearly had a plan B lined up in the form of Danilo if it didn't work out so I'm not sure I take fair to say we were naive. Alves' change of heart clearly came as a shock but what should we have done differently?
 
Stop flapping. Lyon have just denied any agreement with Liverpool - they’re in the same position as us. Difference is we don’t try and force it via medi leaks.
 
Come on folk this is a multi million pound deal and not only is Mahrez coming to us but they are probably doing the other multi million pound deal for Roberts going the other way and even though the two are separate they will be linked. Sit on your hands and whistle Dixie till the end of next week and stop flapping. :-)

"Done" is BM language for "The player wants to come, we've got a good chance". I really doubt the deal is actually done.

It's quite rare that clubs will happily wait a week between agreeing a deal and announcing it and yet, if you believe what you read on here, City do it with every single signing.
