You know what I don't get is why cant City get bargains, il tell you why, until we play hardball with some of these clubs, and walk away from deals these clubs will continue to take the piss. We are premier league champions ffs, players are queing up to join us, so why cant we pay less. I would honestly walk away from the Mhrez deal if they wont take £35m, look iv upped it £5m, I really would.

I don't think you can bargain anymore,there's that much money in the prem now most clubs want the player rather than the money,its generally up to the player now to force thru a move

I would imagine wages would differ as well quite significantly, a 200k gap per week is 50-60 m overall.

I'd be happy with this. Each major area well and truly reinforced. We're already good to go next season but that would put us so far ahead of the rest.

Hazard is one of the greatest players I have ever seen, a truly wonderful player, but unless Chelsea are falling apart then I doubt he is going to be available. You would think Chelsea are going to fire Conte (probably whilst the Champions League Final is going on to reduce damaging publicity) and when they do, then surely Hazard will stay. But maybe CFC are crumbling, because how on Earth is Conte still in that job? Their performance at the Etihad was shocking and proved that there was something deeply wrong, and yet they allowed that situation to fester and lost their Champions League place very predictably. This makes me wonder whether Abramovic's heart is still in it. He would never have allowed such a situation to develop a few years ago.

mahrez is a great player too. One of the best. Love to see either at City. It's not a must stengthen position, but infinitely better than Sanchez. How relieved are you that we didn't buy him!

Would be a great signing. He has the magic moments that topple parked buses. A quick step-over to win a penalty, a fake-shot to send defenders the wrong way, a shimmy to open up space, a rocket of a shot from range. He’d be brilliant.
