Disappointing to get £10m for him, I reckon he'll be at somewhere like Spurs in a few years worth at least five times that.

Still, if it gets Mahrez over the line then there's the silver lining.

We paid more than 10mil when we signed him from Fulham....so taking a loss!...Hopefully we have agreed to this to make the signing of Mahrez easier!

Manchester City have completed the signing of the Fulham teenager Patrick Roberts in a further move to boost their homegrown ranks.

Roberts, who plays as a forward or winger, has moved for an undisclosed fee but the figure is understood to be £11m, with £5m up front for the 18-year-old with a further £6m in add-ons.
