I fucking hate the road tax dodging, Lycra Nazis. The highway code might as well have not been written. Pisses me off when you have to have a licence to fish, yet some Lycra clad idiot on a mountain bike with no lights, is allowed to legally use a road that I and millions of other motorists are paying for.
Don't even get me started on fucking horses!

do you need a road bike or can you do it on a MTB

I did it last year was a good run, i did it on a mtb with some road tyres on. Was ok, my mate did it on mtb with knobbly tyres on and struggled. Going to be doing it again this year its 12th July i think. Was a few hills in the route but some good flat runs mostly.
