Very sad news, such a cruel disease.

Just like when he played, he fought the disease with bravery and dignity. The world has lost a truly great man in Rob.

Hopefully the great fundraising and awareness he - and Kevin Sinfield - have brought to MND continues and a cure is found soon.

Such a sad day. Robs suffering is now over but what an inspiration to all. Words cannot describe what all his friends, fans and, especially, family are going through. I wish everyone could have a friend like Kevin Sinfield, that man truly deserves a knighthood in an era when many are not worthy. RIP Rob Burrow.
