Robert Lewandowski

He has been a quality player for many seasons, but I feel he is the wrong side of the age bracket to attract our attention now, especially with a few younger strikers out there, that I am sure we will turn our attention to in these coming windows.
A season of a fit and firing RL would be an asset to any team, he is in class of one, imo. Most reliable chance-taker, unselfish, never gets bullied, in fact he is "made" for City.
Having said all that, he will not leave BM until his playing days are over. ....Probably

He looks in miles better shape than Harry Hotspur. The Bayern fitness team reckon he’s the fittest footballer they’ve ever come across, he’ll still be banging in 30 goals a season at 38.

We should be investing in young quality players when buying replacements .
No to lewandowski & no to returning for kane .
I hope the owner thinks the same ,get haaland if possible .
Definitely would love Haaland to join us in Jan or in the summer..but I wouldn't say no to RL either..he's a great goalscorer and he still has a few years left in the tank
Don't want Kane as he looks fucked ..mind you that could be because he was set on signing for us and he can't get motivated at Spuds..

I'm not a fan of signing older players but Lewandowski is an extremely, extremely talented footballer who doesn't seem to be slowing down any time soon.

That's not necessarily true. We could see Lewandowski as better value for money.

IMO You’re absolutely right.
Haaland and his circus of spongers would demand ridiculous salaries bonuses and bungs and then have us over a barrel for more as soon as his contracts down to 2 years.
Whereas a more proven and indeed better player like Lewandowski could prove a bargain for 2 or perhaps 3 seasons, and without the grief of having Raiola hawking our best player to our immediate rivals on a biannual basis.
I certainly know where I’d be spending the money if I had any say in it.

Lewandowski is a legendary striker, but at this point of his career, he isn’t coming here. At the end of this past summer window, people here said they heard from inside the club, that besides Pep, the rest of the people calling the shots would much rather not invest big in an older name like Kane and they weren’t confident enough about his physicality to make that big investment, and it would much rather make sense to invest bigger in a younger, “project” striker. We can guess who some of the names would be, including the main one (the cliches about Raiola mentioned above by a poster who is frequently clueless only show ignorance about the relationship people from our own club have had with that agent in the past). Lewandowski being older than Kane puts him even more out of the picture. And even if he were younger, I still wouldn’t be so sure that Pep would want to “go back” to someone from his past; he usually moves forward, Messi having been a possible exception for obvious reasons. If I had to guess, the perfect destination for him would be PSG after Mbappe leaves. We will of course be mentioned in articles about Lewa, though, as it seems he either wants to leave or Bayern wants to move on, and the press will be looking at which major clubs are looking for a striker to draw up the links.
