Robert Smith (The Cure) when being inducted in the Rock 'N' Roll Hall Of Fame

The Pilsbury Doughboy has come a long way:

That vid is just Something Else..; )...What a way to introduce yourself to the nation.
I still think The Banshees are one of the best uk bands of all time, and that era in particular ,Siouxsie was groundbreaking...tracks like Make up or Break Up ,Scrapheap, and the later absolutely storming version of Helter Skelter...Wow,just Wow.
Fantastic Band.

Absolutely 100% agree, mate.

Always remember a performance on The Tube (17:30, C4, Friday - the memories) where they did Running town, Bring me the head of the preacher man and Blow the House Down and it blew the mind of this impressionable 15-year old...!

Brilliant band live back then. I managed to see them two or three times before I turned 15.

This one would have been 1977

This is hilarious, and I understand the British disdain for peppy, over-enthusiastic American behavio(u)r. The Cure were a kick, and please note Robert Smith was a very early contributor to South Park, an additional plus.

However, I'd also like to point out that a 60 year-old man still wears lipstick and the same hairstyle he did 35 years ago. Iconic or not, it's still a bad look.

He’s still a brilliant musician and writer.
