you know how to post a gif, well done you.

I am sure if we were in for him then we would have got him...... the news that he is going to Liverpool shows he was not a target but just a rumour

No, as well as.

I'd rather keep and use Navas than buy Sterling.

Get rid of Dzeko, Jovetic, Nasri and either Clichy or Kolarov to make way for foreign signings.
Thank fuck you're not in charge of our transfers. We need home grown players to bulk up our squad. Whether you think we've screwed up our transfer strategy or not, that's a fact. We can include players like Denayer & Lopes but we can't rely on them in big games. We need young home-grown players with big match experience and that means we'll overpay for them.

Fee agreed with the scouser 's, can only mean we've said we won't pursue him as we're getting Sterling.

I think firmno was a back up in case we didn't get sterling and de bruyne. it looks like w still think that could happen if we havent bid.

Is it just me who doesn't think Firminho is that much better than Lallana? I'd rate Coutinho much higher too, I think Firminho is a decent signing but nothing special.

Sterling and De Bruyne are almost certainties to come here now.

Might be waiting a bit longer yet mate. The silence is deafening coming out of City at present, and as we all know with our transfers, very few come without major complications.

It's not our style to talk the media through every single step of our transfer strategy. We go about things quietly. Sterling will be in the bag. We were linked to Firminho like several other English clubs, he's a decent scoring record but for an extra £15-20m we're getting a much better player in Sterling. I think this deal is pretty much done following that announcement. I've no concerns over signings Sterling, there's no competition for his signature and we've been sounding him out since December. Pogba will be tricky, but again, no firm evidence to suggest he'll go anywhere other than City or sticking with Juve... De Bruyne hasn't signed a new contract which encourages me on that one too.
