Roberto Mancini - next Italy manager

Constant failure in Europe, a humiliating FA Cup Final defeat, numerous sackings (I’ve not bothered checking what happened in Russia) and awful man management skills including the Tevez and Balotelli car crashes.

He’s a deeply arrogant man and won’t last with the pressure cooker job of managing his country. To see numerous Blues with no interest in England wishing Italy well is sickening. And that comes from a Wales fan.

Agree with your first paragraph but reckon he might be better suited to managing a national team. Can’t say I’m surprised it didn’t work at Zenit though.

Alright Joe Hart, how are you fella?

I love Mancini, but his record in cups isn't the best. Definitely more of a league manager.
As manager he won the Copa Italia with Fiore, Lazio and Inter twice, the FA Cup with City, the Turkish Cup with Gala and the Super Copa Italiana twice with Inter and the Community Shield with City.

He’s won 6 (or 9) cups and 4 league titles.

Bobby had a penchant for upsetting people he worked with, due, i believe, to an excess of passion and frustration when things went wrong. In an international job, he might do very well as there are calming hiatuses between games.
We got the very best of him. Good luck to our Bobbymanc.

We’ve won more than three knock out ties since Bobby left.

Or do you mean three knock out competitions?

I evidently didnt specify, but it was in reference to "constant failure in Europe". In Europe we've only beaten Kiev, PSG, and Basel in the knockouts since, which is poor given the progress everywhere else.

Well, we've qualified from our group 5 times in a row, including 2 wins, so best not to bring up Bobby's CL record here.
