Arsenal Football Club has issued the following statement with regard to Robin van Persie's future:
" We have to respect Robin's decision not to renew his contract. Robin has one year to run on his current contract and we are confident that he will fulfil his commitments to the Club.
"We are planning with ambition and confidence for next season with Arsenal's best interests in mind."

i.e. if you want to move Robin, you can submit a transfer request so the fans can hate you and not the club for selling you.

With arsenals best interests in mind......nice hint that he's gone for the money, instead to arsenal not signing any top class talent in order to compete. Wonder what that gobshite wilshere will think about this. i bet he's regretting saying he would never leave arsenal now.
1000 posts as well, christ its only taken 5 years
