Odds on skybet now 4/5 city 11/8 united.

I reckon taggert is desperate to get one over us and it wouldn't surprise me.

If they do get van persie then they will be favourites for the title in my opinion.

I hope we haven't put all our eggs in one basket!

They wont go fav if they get van persie,Look at what chelsea are doing and they have hardly moved in the betting...

If we never signed anyone we would still be favs with every bookies going!

Well lets hope you aqre right and we dont get a last minute change ala Hazard - because we will be left with one pissed off player is Dzeko

Fergie ruled the rags out of Nasri last year saying his head had been turned - they will put 15 - 20 million the table and it wont be to far from where we are the have the wage with Berbaflop in his way out - that Chiqorita or whatever only played a bit part season - Welbeck is only a young kid and they want to win the title back

They spent 50 - 70 million last summer on transfers they aint spent anywhere near that yet

So why is there not a fookin chance they wont sign him even a cursiory look would indicate he could

They've spend 17m on Kagawa and 5 on the kid from Crewe there gunna break the bank for Moura so the wont waste millions on a 29 year old RVP because they haven't got it. RVP will follow Vieira,Clichy and Nasri to us he'll be on more money have more chance of success which he has stated he wants.

Where has it come from that the Rags want RVP? Fergie has never said it (like he did Nasri) it's come from the papers and it's only been in the past few weeks. Duncan Castles stated RVP agreed City move 3 month ago. RVP could of denied it back then but he hasn't for me City have been involved way to long to miss out. Can't see the Rags paying out 60m in wages and transfer fees for a 29 year old.
Where has it come from that City want RVP? Is Duncan Castles your source?

Utd need RVP a lot more than City need him so if you ask me which move is more likely I'd say Utd. But don't discount him staying at Arsenal. Will cost them a lot more than £20m if they finish outside the top 4.
TBF TH (our resident BM ITK) has said many times RVP is our no 1 target this window

Just thought I would share don't have to believe but a lad I know that is mates with giggs said giggs told him last night that rvp is signing for rags it's a done deal announced in 2 weeks time not sure why te delay on announcing it, this is after we turned down the opportunity to sign him .

What has that got to do with any part of a transfer. "Hi Robin we need you more but we will pay you less is that okay"
"Sure guys why not"

Remember Hazzard? It was said we were in for him, and it turned out our interest had cooled and we were out of the running at the end.

We may well be in for RVP, but it's all speculative so far. There isn't one hard shred of evidence that we are currently in for him

Ask your self this when was the last time The scum payed big bucks for a 29 year old? An injury prone one at that!

Only reason I see them buying him is it's BaconChops last Hoorarr and it's a 1 season win the league back of us before he goes

Yeah think he was around 28 but that's when the scum spent like Turning the tap on!

I'd buy him just to keep him away from rags. Sure he could come here and get injured, he could also stay healthy at rags and fire them to the championship. Why risk it? Played better than any of our strikers last season.

Like many on here, i am of the opinion that, if we get him, then fine, no worries.

And if he goes elsewhere, then fine, no worries.

Most agree it is not a striker we need, an injection of pace and guile in the middle/wide would be nice, and back up for Vinnie & Joleon, because Mr Savic was a bit nervy last season.

Juve dropped out to 12/1 now so it looks like a 2 horse race between us 4/5 and the rags 11/8.

They are now evens..

Most of this will be folk reading the mirror and thinking i can make a few quid..
