Find it hilarious how 1 minute everybody is slating the player saying they don't want him here, not good enough, 2 injury prone blah blah

And now theres a story out saying he might be going to the rags, theres a certain element of panic settling in....
The fact is he's a great player, I just hope it's not too late before some realise that and he's showing it across the way improving another of our rivals whilst we appear to be standing still!

Rags were also nailed on to sign, Silva, Nasri, Balo......

Us or Juve and i know were my money is.

Marvin is a funny one in that any article linking him to us is completely ignored as offering no proof yet the first one linking him to the rags gets him all giddy and excited?

It's not that he's not good enough, cos he obviously is, but that:

1) we have more pressing concerns, ie lack of width and pace, and no cover at centre half, where we are an injury to Vinny away from more Savic inspired mayhem
2) with FFP a consideration (and it clearly is, cos otherwise we'd surely already have addressed the concerns at 1. above) a 29 year old with no resale value and a sketchy injury record represents a considerable gamble, however talented he is
3) we have good forwards already

I certainly don't want the best goal scorer in the league to go to the rags, but it wouldn't be a disaster if he didn't come to City

A mate of mine who knows a mate of them whos second cousin once removed knows their step dads sisters mothers daughter...They told me....Fuck sake everyone.

Van Persie is a class player and i for one hopes he signs for us.

Everyone on here who is calling him shit, injury prone. I will remind you of your comments when you are praising his signature....

I would imagine RVP has always been a fall back position if we were going to lose Tevez/Dzeko or both.

Maybe Mancini is satisfied that Carlos is going to behave. And Edin has also agreed to stay and fight for his place. So VP not needed. Hence United being in the frame.

Dzeko would be a fool to go to Milan. Seria A is struggling.

I'm sure there is some truth to this, if all four stay, no way RvP will come.

looks like the daily mail picked up on the story. there is one quote that makes me uneasy about this.

"I am easy about it if he stays. I would be happy with that. But if someone comes in and Dimitar wants to leave, we will assess it."

looks like they're genuinely in for him reading between the lines. i guess we need to step up the bid and blow them out of the water. they cannot get a quality player such as rvp. that would massively boost their squad with regards to the goal department
