Never seen so many drama queens....

Would i swap RVP for - Kun - no way.
Would i swap RVP for - Tevez - no way.
Would i swap RVP for - mario - no way.
Would i swap RVP for - Edin - yes but not for 20m+ and 200k+ a week for an injury prone arogant prick.

Man up and get a fukin grip you bunch of tarts.

If all you girls who obviously read the Daily mail believe RVP will choose the rags because he wants to play every game....PLEASE..He couldn't manage 2 games a week for 10 months. He will go to the club desperate enough to fork out 20m+ and 200k+ a week which at the moment is the stretford lot.

We have Tevez back and 100% focused it's like a new signing and the partnership with Kun looks deadly. Mario is coming off an awesome showing in the euros as well as Edin chomping at the bit to prove his worth.

-- Sun Aug 05, 2012 9:34 pm --

United with Lucas Moura and RVP will be fucking deadly.

Oooh,don,t think i,ll sleep tonight!.
Deadly, wtf, thought RvP was past it, injury prone, one season wonder waste of money ****.

^ This...

We don't need a striker. We need a top quality midfielder who can unlock defences and a centreback.

Agger will do at the back and I would look no further than Modric for the middle.Madrid seem to be pissing about with this one.

RVP and his 98 chances created last season shows he can unlock defences. I'd rather pay £20million on him than £35million on the overrated Modric.

Seems to me we can't spend in light of FFP
Hazard looked ours
Van Persie looked ours
Thiago Silva would have been the dogs bollocks
We are standing back while all rivals kick on
Less than 2 weeks to the season starts
We can't sell anyone
Dogfight of epic proportions coming this season
We should be in a better position at this stage, no doubts

Explain, to me our rivals haven't strengthened.

Rags, youngster not first team and oriental who may or may not make it but might flog a few of their appalling shirts.
Chelsea have lost their main striker, lampard is a year older, the signings are all unproven players.
No point signing for signings sake. Keep calm the window closes at end of month.

you could say that about any player who's not played in the PL. Hazard, Marin and Oscar to a lesser extent look great players and will definitely strengthen them

We are not going to get him. If we really wanted him it would be done and dusted by now.

Exactly.

If you spend £20 Million on a player it has to improve you significantly.

It's arguable whether the addition of RVP would improve City as it would force the departure of another player, and most likely displace Tevez or Aguero which would be ridiculous.

Much better that investment goes on an area that needs strengthening. Maybe we struggle to find any additions. We'll see.

-- Sun Aug 05, 2012 11:28 pm --

Anyone who wants the rags to get him must be off their heads.

He might get injured and never play, but he might not, and if he doesn't then whoever he is playing for he will be fantastic.

Us or out the country for me

Agreed. Can't believe what I'm reading.
City come first over dislike or fear of what he can do for Utd. Yes he would improve Utd. He wont improve City because he could only do so by displacing Aguero and Tevez and in my book they are the best

Can't believe some of the comments I'm reading. Regardless of what some of you think of Shrek, the lad tears up the premier league more often than not. He scored 27 league goals last season. RVP is a world class footballer. His issues are his injury record, but last season he stayed fit. Do we really want the 2 of them playing for the scum next season?

Yes, we still have forwards of that ilk ourselves. But last season we only beat them on goal difference and their most influential player & captain was injured for most of the season. Take Kompany out of our side for that length of time and we'd struggle to make the top 4.

We are easily good enough to compete with them, but Vidic coming back, Moura, Kagawa and potentially RVP would be a significant improvement to their squad from last season.

A fit RVP playing for the rags for the full season scores over 30 league goals on top of shreks. Tevez, Aguero, Dzeko and Mario can definitely out score their strike force. But my point is, why would some be happy RVP goes there? Rooney & RVP is significantly better than Rooney & Welbeck. So surely, RVP going to Juve would be better for us?
