What I meant was, he knows about his status as a world famous football player, Why play in the EPL freezing his bollocks off when he could go to Inter, real, etc. And get virtually the same money there? He's got nothing to prove to us. I don't think he's arsed.

His status at the moment is that of a player who has failed at his last two clubs..far from world class.

Read my first post m8.

ust reading his supposed comment that he wants Santos to extend his contact to 4 years ,so I dont think he has any intention of coming back

IMO this is one of his biggest problems, he always seems to be spouting off in the media instead of concentrating on his football. Good riddance, sick of hearing it.

Robinho behaves like a child. Until he grows up he will be unable play a pivotal role in a Championship winning team in Europe.

He has the skills but not the mentality and so on balance if we can offload him and recoup some of our investment we should do so.

Good luck to him. I can't see us letting him stay at Santos though purely because i don't think they can afford him.

Hopefully he has a good World Cup and he either comes back rejuvinated or we at least get a decent fee for him.

BTW, what he has said isn't a slur on City. He loves Santos and the welcome he's had will no doubt be emotional. He's a young lad still and it's probably a little over-whelming. It's unprofessional to say that while he's under contract here but that's about as far as it goes.

I also can't actually quite believe just how much some people (City fans) have wanted him to fail just so they can bring out the 'i told you so card' - This has been apparent since the back end of last season.

Rubbish...I would rather have been proved wrong, but after all the abuse thrown in the direction of those that dared to criticise him why shouldn't we say "I told you so" ?
No doubt that this still won't be enough evidence for some people on here.
Robinho has never been and will never be truly World Class. Pele can keep him !

cant believe some people are saying robinho is a whinger...have u seen petrov???
