Robinho Due Back

We know he's a quality player, but i'm sorry why would we want a player to come back to a team he never wanted to play for in the first place!.The guy is a spoilt little shit and can pay off the remainder of his obsurd contract for all i care.

Its also so true that when we finally did pack him on his way, nobody even bothered to say i told you so and rub it in like we all expected although didnt care, as they all thought he was a prick too!!!

Corky
That does not make sense playing an out and out winger behind him. May as well say attack us down your right.

In a 4 3 3 the two wide forwards are responsible for marking their full backs when they attack.

Playing 5 forwards in your formation makes it worse.[/quote]

Not always mate, they only track back when the formation is 4-3-3 going forward and 4-5-1 coming back that when they would need to track back and when they would mark the full backs.

If we play a rigid 4-3-3 they the lazy little shite would be ok to hang around upfront and wouldnt need to track back nor be expected.
the forward should in throery plit the back 4 and pass the man on when the attack to the midfielders. But agree with you 5 forwards would be shocking in that formation¬!

Robbi gave us something different and special. i would take him back in a second. On his day one of the best players in the world. Not many players we could buy would be as good as robinho. Even if he is a spoiled little prick

He doesn't want to play for us and we will never see him back in England let alone with a City shirt on again. End of story.

The only thing that worries me is how we get him off our books. Nobody can afford to take him on loan (unless we bail them out) and we can't use him as bait to get another big name player in because the way he's been conducting himself suggests he would refuse to go anywhere but Santos.

Absolutely right .......

i posted when he first went to Santos saying exactly the same ....... he's got absolutely no intention of coming back here

We're gonna have to take a big loss on this player to get rid ...... whoever he goes too!

Unless , of course , he has a 'storming' world Cup .... then we might touch lucky and get HALF of what we paid back!

He scored a good goal and provided an assist a couple of nights ago against the mighty Zimbabwe.
Elano also scored!

His motivation looks fine when playing for his beloved Brazil.

He is under contract to us and cannot legally play anywhere else without our permission.

We should play hard-ball and say "look Robbie - you either play to the best of your ability for us, or you do not play at all".

I still see a role for him as an attacking midfielder behind a much strengthened defence.

He is back when we say he is back. The fact is we f*ucking own him, and if the sheik wants to he can make him clean the bogs or hang around chorlton St. waiting to be loved by Cheeses of Nazareth. I say we should pay him another 50k a week, and make him smoking monitor in the bogs at COMS.
