It might be a sensible post but nobody ahs complained that he doesn't track back. He just doesn't want to be here. Please can we accept that?

Sorry mate, but Im not having that, Robinhos entire first season and a good part of his second I was on here defending him against the abuse he got from the "tracback-brigade".
Oh right, sorry.
I never criticised him for that. I only criticised him for not putting enough effort in for the amount of money we paid for him.

-- Wed Jun 16, 2010 8:00 pm --

Fine, he's a good player.

His 'play' tonight has shown that he can turn on the style but he doesn't want to do it for us. Would the Robinho-lovers please just accept that he doesn't want to play for us anymore? This isn't based on anything he's said in the press. This is based on how he was before he left us. I don't hate him, he just doesn't want to be here. He's a good player, jsut not excellent. He does a few stepovers and passes square.

If he comes back and blows us away then fine, serve me up some nice, warm and crispy humble pie. The taste will be sweet if he's scoring again but the chanes of that happening are very slim.

prepare to but mustard on those words... as its served with this slice of humble pic, baked in the over of shame... gas mark - egg on your face!!

wait... now i cant remember what i was talking about
What?

Robinho was immense against North Korea last night
If he comes back to City i'd like to see Elano back with him aswell

The Guardian have been pushing the story he wants to leave since the moment he got here, even when he repeatdly gave interviews in his first few months at the club saying he was happy they continued to press with there own agenda.

The press have never liked the idea that a player like Robinho could come to a club like City, and have been shit stirring from day one. It just amazes me that people believe the shite that they print and repeat it on here as if it's gospel. At the time of his departure he said he would be back after the World Cup, as did Mancini. His most recent quotes back that up. I'm sure he will be seeking some assurances that Mancini sees him as an integral part of his plans, and that the club will continue to invest in quality players to help him produce his best football. If the answers to both questions are positive, then I expect to see him back in a City shirt next season, and if this happens his detracters need to shut the fuck up and get behind him (imo).

Maybe I'm the only one who thought his pretty pretty poncing about would have got him nowhere against the better teams.

I'm pretty sure he doesn't need to hand in a request. We'll sell him anyway.

You're definitely not alone.

Pretty good poncing through ball.

legitimate question as to why he can play so well for Brazil, and struggled latterly for City, but to deny his talent altogether is going too far.

Perhaps his decline in form is because he's too soft, and listens to criticism from no marks who he should ignore

The guy has been hounded ever since he landed for the first time in Manchester, so no wonder he found the adulation at Santos a preferred option.

If he does stay then I'd be happy as larry because he is outstanding on his day and if we can just use the guy properly instead of wasting him on the left wing then we might see some of his undoubted class.

Robinho:
"I thought Manchester City were a good choice for me. I understood the reactions when I joined them. People thought I was going for the money but if it was then I would have gone to Dubai or an Arabic country.

"But I wanted to play in the Premier League and I was happy to join a club with big ambitions.

"They have the money and ambition to make it into the top four in England. And, believe me, next season City will. Maybe I'll be there to help them.

"When I moved to City a lot of Brazilians did not really know much about the club and they thought it was a step down. But I'm now thinking that people think it was the right decision for me."

I'm so sick of this ungrateful, lazy prima donna slagging my club off! Lol!
