Robinho is world class, one of the best players, but was so poorly managed by Hughes that by the time Mancini arrived he was a shell of the player he can be. Not helped either by Clueless forcing his best mate out the door.
With careful management we could get him playing like this for City.

Playing for Brazil in the opening game of their World Cup tournement is a bit different to playing Blackpool away in England in February. He's not interested in 'bread and butter' games. Talented player, but he was trouble at Real, he was trouble with us and if he came back, he'd be trouble again.

Maybe going back to his roots at santos is what he needed to get back the form he undoubtedly lost whilst in Europe,now that he is getting back to his old self maybe this is the reason for his so called comments about coming back to us..you never know !!
A bit of rehab is maybe what he needed..
If he carries on like he did tonight and decides not to come back then whats the worst that can happen...we get more money for him.
