Robinho (Merged)

Let him take the medical etc etc then pull the plug at 5 to 6.

Then lets see how Robinho handles it and whether he can man up.

We are getting bent over big time with this deal.

Robinho wants away from City permanently and Borriello wants away from Milan permanently due to his dislike of Ibrahimovic so why dont City seal a swap deal???? Juve have said they no longer wish to sign Borriello and have turned to Pazzini so nothing stands in our way as Roma cant compete with the money City have and the project City are building.

BREAKING NEWS: Robinho: I Want To Play For Milan & Win The Scudetto; But Deal Depends On Marco Borriello & Juventus
Robinho has confirmed his wish to play for Milan as he arrived for his medical, but the deal is far from complete as it hinges on Marco Borriello and Juventus.

"I am very happy and I hope that all goes well and i can enjoy success with Milan. I hope I can show our attack will be strong," Robinho told Sky Sport Italia.

"I Haven't spoken to Alexandre Pato or Ronaldindinho. I am very happy and I hope that all goes well.

"I am happy. I want to play with Milan because they are an excellent squad. I want to win the Scudetto."

The problem with Robinho as with all players we now try to sell is their wages.

It's not Robinho's fault he is so highly paid. That's what we offered him.

The way to go with him and others is to get a fair market value for him and pay the balance of his wages.

So given the world financial crisis maybe 32 million is not going to happen, but certainly something in the region of what we paid for Yaya and Silva ie 25 million quid.

Don't know what AC's top salary is but that's what Milan should pay Robinho and we then top it up to what he gets at City.

On the other hand if AC offer something derisory like £15 m then we should walk away. Robinho then has to stay and Mancini has to work out what to do with him.

He isn't that good, so instead of getting rid of Robinho's wages and bringing in a transfer fee of £15million plus, we would probably get £5million cash plus a player who is on £60,000 a week.

Send him to the Sheiks home club on loan for the season.

Ac Milan are taking the piss we should tell them and Robinho to fuck off.

gazzetta:
Roma have stepped up their bid to get Borriello to 5th gear: Galliani and Sensi are negotiating. Roma offer a permanent contract, which could seal the deal in very short time.

I just watched SSN and they said we are asking for a fee in the region of 23 million so if thats the case that isnt a bad deal at all if it goes through.
