have said before, the improvement in form is down to the "finishing line" being in sight for the players of seeing Hughes gone - they are playing for their futures under the new regime.

Are you so blind in your hatred of Hughes that you can't see what is in front of your face.

De Jong, Dunne, Komps, ireland, Robinho, Cook.

Have all recently praised Hughes publicly.

You'd prefer to listen to the ramblings of some attention seeking wannabes.

I'll listen to the players I support Thanks. Hughes will be here next season. Proper order.
Agreed Steve.

At the end of the day mate it doesn't matter to me whether its Hughes, Mourinho or my Mum as Manager..... I support MCFC and whoever the manager and players are I am right behind them.
We all hear things from people and why shouldnt that be shared, thats all people are doing here.... its not blind hatred and I am sure they are not all 'attention seeking wannabies'

Pmsl.

What about these players Hughes is in talks with to sign? You think the Owners will let him sign players then a week later say goodbye? Don't be silly.

Who is he in talks with?

I ain't ITK, seems a little odd and strange that they would play well for the old manager, surely it would be the opposite, get him sacked then play well when the new one is appointed, if they get it wrong and win all games to end of season and qualify for Europe might just save MHs bacon. Only my observation.

what i mean though mate is that the decision is already made and i sense Robbie knows it from his earlier comments, hence the improvement in form - i think you only have to look at Hughes' demeanour in interviews to know he is aware he is gone, will be on a decent bonus for getting 7th and then "clear your desk".

No.

The improvement in form is down to two main factors.
1) Being knocked out of the UEFA Cup means a small squad lacking strength in depth is no longer playing two games a week, thus having more time to recover and train.
2) After a long season of transition Hughes seems to finally be getting to know what his best team is. Hughes' signings are settling in and becoming more important to us game by game. Hughes did say that his teams are stronger at the back of the season due to his strict fitness regime, maybe, just maybe he was right. Also, Hughes has realised and accepted Elano's strengths and weaknesses and learned how to get the best out of him.

I've made my feelings towards Hughes pretty clear all season, but credit where it's due.

pretty definitive to me, don't you think? Have Khaldoon or the Sheikh come out and criticized Mark? No. Your argument is flawed at the core. I'll go with the evidence I have in front of me and say Hughes will be here. And I am absolutely delighted with that
