Robinho

Only one picture though isn't it though mate.

My question is where was a performance from (if you believe most of the blue tinted glasses brigade on here) a "world class" player against a pretty average team in a game that was totally stretched?

I think lots of blues make loads of excuses for Robinho. He should have been sacrificed much much earlier last night and we might not have had to endure penalty's because lets face it he did nowt else (and for all of those people who said he hit the bar ffs he hit the bar from 8 yards out when he should have buried the chance!).

No one is saying sell him or whatever just stop picking him away from home because for whatever reason he contributes NOTHING!

Do you want me to post a picture from every single game then?

There are plenty of posts on here saying sell him. A new thread appeared tonight (like we need another one).

You might help your case if you stopped saying he contributes nothing away from home as it clearly isn't true, why even come out with it??? This is half the reason people get pissed off at the criticism because it is often unfounded, learn how to express yourself without telling lies. He has contributed 2 away league goals for one, can't be bothered counting the assists, he also made a fair few tackles last night.

Oh, and if you feel that strongly about it maybe you should be placing some blame at that manager's door? After all he keeps picking him and also picks the rest of the team for away games that Robinho is so "ineffective" in.

Two goals is a fantastic return for a "World Class" player. He also gave the ball away loads last night by trying to do stupid tricks in the wrong part of the pitch. He also shirked a few tackles.

A genuine question do you think for a supposed World Class player his performances have been good enough since christmas?

ok kippax he`s not WORLD CLASS you win, will you now leave your favourite subject alone now.he did well 1st half and worked as hard as any player.yea he faded 2nd half but so did city collectively.

<yawn>

This is how it always goes. Get proved wrong, don't acknowledge it then move onto something else. You tell me how many away goals a "world class" player should have scored in his first season in the premier league, what's the magic number?

He clearly hasn't been effective since Christmas, could be many reasons - rape allegation, not 100% fit all the time, team in general not doing as well etc.

I note you ask the question but refused to answer mine about Hughes. Says it all really.

He must not start another away game this season. It's getting beyond a joke now, if all you's are happy with his half hearted, can't be arsed performances then more fool you. At home yeah he can be class, off the pitch he's seems a sound guy, but away from home he is just pointless, too weak, no effort, no "spark of brilliance" except for 1 game out of how many?

Anyway well done City although you don't half make hard work of it!!

Tin hat on.

Agreed this is getting frustrating now, what must the other players be thinking!
It seems that he is at full sweat throughout the game, I cannot believe the number of people on here who think he does not give effort. If he gives no effort, why is he sweating? He runs all over the pitch, marks back, even though he is clearly out of position, he changes sides in an effort to create. Petrov did not mark back either, but now he is our savior. It does not make sense.

Playing him gives them two players down the right. Hardly any teams double up on him.

I must be watching different games to you then

i have heard it all now, dictionary describes a world class player as

a) scores two away goals in seven months
b) has sweat on forehead
c) is seen on left wing then right wing 15 minutes later

Come on then know-it-all, give us the dictionary definition of a 'world-class' player.

On second thoughts GTFO and go back to your own shit thread.

:)

He got away with the ball as well AND it was an away game!

Mustn't have happened though because he "contributes NOTHING".

I want a hat trick every week and if I don't get it I shall stamp my feet and sulk.
