1. he is 3rd leading goal scorer in the leauge - in his 1st season, AND he he hasnt played every single game.

I hope I'm wrong, but to me he looks like he's just seeing out this season with us with the deal already done to move to another club.
His lack of interest and passion compared to the start of the season is just bonkers and there has to be a reason.

Robinho is a great player but not a great professional, speak to any Real Madrid fan.
We have got rose-tinted goggles on when we watch him and speak about him cos he was a major signing, infact THE major signing our club has ever made.

For me, and I've said this all along he was a wrong signing for us at our stage of development (stage 0.00000001)
We need to get the nuts and bolts right before this kind of player (highly paid/ doesn't answer to the manager) comes in.
I believe he undermines MH position and unless he performs week in week out - which he is far from now, I'd rather spend 32 mil on 3 much needed good prem players, e.g Kolo Toure, RSC + 1 more.

Sorry to all you Robbie lovers who won't have a bad word said against him, but fact is he aint putting his shift in.

He has the chance to be a city legend. I hope despite my remarks he becomes one and not a half season wonder.

Playing him gives them two players down the right. Hardly any teams double up on him.

My question is where was a performance from (if you believe most of the blue tinted glasses brigade on here) a "world class" player against a pretty average team in a game that was totally stretched?

I think lots of blues make loads of excuses for Robinho. He should have been sacrificed much much earlier last night and we might not have had to endure penalty's because lets face it he did nowt else (and for all of those people who said he hit the bar ffs he hit the bar from 8 yards out when he should have buried the chance!).

No one is saying sell him or whatever just stop picking him away from home because for whatever reason he contributes NOTHING!

No I'm not saying that he gave away two goals but him constantly giving the ball away on the half way line help Alborg gain momentum.

There are plenty of posts on here saying sell him. A new thread appeared tonight (like we need another one).

You might help your case if you stopped saying he contributes nothing away from home as it clearly isn't true, why even come out with it??? This is half the reason people get pissed off at the criticism because it is often unfounded, learn how to express yourself without telling lies. He has contributed 2 away league goals for one, can't be bothered counting the assists, he also made a fair few tackles last night.

Two goals is a fantastic return for a "World Class" player. He also gave the ball away loads last night by trying to do stupid tricks in the wrong part of the pitch. He also shirked a few tackles.

A genuine question do you think for a supposed World Class player his performances have been good enough since christmas?

This is how it always goes. Get proved wrong, don't acknowledge it then move onto something else. You tell me how many away goals a "world class" player should have scored in his first season in the premier league, what's the magic number?

He clearly hasn't been effective since Christmas, could be many reasons - rape allegation, not 100% fit all the time, team in general not doing as well etc.

I note you ask the question but refused to answer mine about Hughes. Says it all really.

Ok he doesn't contribute anywhere nearly enough away from home in my opinion to warrant us playing him and being wide open and easy to play against. We have picked up nowhere near as many points as we should have away from home this season and in my opinion Robinho is a contributing factor to this. Just out of interest when people talk about players doubling up against Robinho surely this happens more at home than when we are playing away from home. So why can he manage being doubled up on at home but not away from home?

We can argue about this topic all day and use facts i.e. two goals that can be used to the advantage or disadvantage of whatever argument but at the end of the day we have all seen that his performances away from home have been nowhere near as good as they have at home and it's an interesting topic of discussion.

In answer to your question Disturbance I think Hughes shouldn't pick him away from home and he should be strong enough not to pick him. However I can understand it is difficult for him not to pick him because as you can see from this thread it totally splits the supporters. But Yes he has to take some of the blame as he should have broad enough shoulders to make unpopular decisions.
