I am starting to think that Robinho is not happy at city.Despite what he has said in the past.Maybe the courtcase thing is doing his head in a bit but it shouldn't affect his game.He is meant to be one of the best in the world.Have we seen it in recent games?....I don't think we would miss him that much if he went(on recent form that is).He is undoubtedly talented but are we the right team for him?I am not sure that we are.

This would change my opinion on him massively if he did this, but let's see if he has the dedication and commitment like Ireland to do this, or see if he just carries on playing when he can be arsed as usual.

they didnt cost us 32 mil and unfortunately that makes a difference to some people on here even though robbie didnt have anything to do with his price tag! he was no way near the worst player last night but some people find it too easy to sslag him off because of his price tag!

They also don't earn £160K a week.

mate you're saying that he doesnt deserve to be treated differently to any other player so he shouldnt be immune to being dropped or subbed but you're treating him differently because of the amount of money he earns! the fact is he played better than most of our side last night but you cant get the amount of money he earns out of your head so no matter if the rest of the side are not performing you will usually single out robbie because of the amount of money he earns which is actually treating him differently to the rest of the side!

I totally agree mate, since the Spanish training camp incident and all that, I think it's been plain to see his hearts not in it any more and although I'd like him to stay, I can definitely see him going in the summer with Elano and Jo.

ye i know what you are saying, but some people expect him to score 5 goals a game make 2 world class tackles. save a goal of the line etc.. but if he just has an average game, he gets called shit. ye he was shit tonight but so was SWP in my opinion but no one says anything.

One last point, everyone keeps bringing up the amount of goals he's scored and fair enough, he is our top goalscorer, however bar his hat-trick v Stoke (where he was class), and his great finish v Blackburn, his goals have really been scored when we were ahead and cruising, and the other team have pushed up leaving acres of space for the likes of him and the other attacking players. This is when he is class.

Let's take a look at the others he's scored.

Chelsea (free kick, took a deflection).
Pompey (we was cruising, this is when we need him!)
Newcastle (penalty)
Twente (great goal tbh)
Spurs (we were playing great until Headless got sent off)
Arsenal (quality finish, but caught Arsenal on the break, where he's good)
Hull (cruising again, also when we need him!)

That to me says he's a player capable of getting us from 1-0 to 4-0, world class players for me are the one's who can get us from 0-1 to 2-1.

So yeah he is top scorer but most of his goals come from when we're cruising and the opposition have pushed up to try and get goals back.

Also the amount of open nets and sitters he's missed this season is unbelievable.

I know i've said I expect better performances for the player he is but that's not the reason i'm getting on his back, as every player can go through bad patches and this is probably his. I admit SWP was shit last night as well (got a slight knock first half though tbf) but the thing is, SWP always gives 100% and that is my main beef with Robinho. Now I know people say he shouldnl't track back and I sort of agree sometimes, but when the opposition defenders have it, why can't he make challenges then, this won't mean he has to get back. One rule that I used to get told when I was younger and I still agree with it now is defend from the front, that means the strikers and other attacking players.
