Was listening to the radio earlier and the 'experts' were saying good players very rarely get sold from Real Madrid in their prime. Also said no top 4 team would touch him, sadly I agree. He does not want to play for our club and it's clear from his lack of effort and average play (remember he cost 32m) it's time people stopped kidding themsleves.

Yeh lets forget the 11 goals and 14 assists he got in La Liga last season for the Spanish champions, what an average player
imagine if robbie was over at the swamp you would have andy gray and co wetting there pants week in week out with substandard performances, i think its all to easy to point the finger at him yes he should be doing more but so should the rest around him! More to come from him and with a bit of poatience think we will see it before season is over and defo for next season

He must not start another away game this season. It's getting beyond a joke now, if all you's are happy with his half hearted, can't be arsed performances then more fool you. At home yeah he can be class, off the pitch he's seems a sound guy, but away from home he is just pointless, too weak, no effort, no "spark of brilliance" except for 1 game out of how many?

Anyway well done City although you don't half make hard work of it!!

Tin hat on.

100% agree, i just feel that an higher power is in play and always will be ADUG will pull some strings thats what manager is going to have to live with at city, thats one of the reasons Morinho left chelsea, thats modern football unfortunately!

Spot on about the higher power thing. There was once tonight with 10 to go that he had a simple pass on near his own box.He then tossed about with it and lost the ball.I think Hughes would have subbed him there and then if he wasn't our special player!

I had a feeling a pathetic thread like this would start.
He WAS the only player to get a shot in and played OK

Why did they sell him? Is he good enough for Utd? Indeed would Red nose accept his attitude? I think not. Keep kidding yourslef that he cares a damn about our club.

he is an outstanding player, but I think he needs someone to challange for his position, once Petrov gets back to match fittnes, sit Robbie for two straight games, maybe bring him on in latter parts of a game but make it known that he isnt going to just get put on cause hes the owners buy

Why did United sell RVN? Why did Juve sell Zidane? Why did Barca sell Ronaldinho? Players move clubs for various reasons and just because Real were willing to sell him for a lot of money doesn't mean that he's not a top player. Would Fergie accept his attitude? Well let me put it this way, is he any worse than Berbatov in terms of work ethic when on the pitch?

When did i say he cared about this club?
