After such a wonderful performance yesterday, I think his performance somewhat slipped under the radar. I thought he played really well yesterday and that was without doubt one of his most hardworking performances. He didn't do too much going forward but looked assured in possesion and surprisingly defended a lot more than he usually does and got stuck in.

Hard-working but fairly wasteful going forward, I think he's still a bit rusty from his injury but I'm sure he'll shake that off soon. Good to see a better attitude from him though.

Thought he was good to say he'd only played 60 mins of football since coming back from injury. But some on his passes are unbelievable, where he flicks it with the outside of his foot round a defender down the line, no one else in our team can do that. He even tracked back! Put in two tackles and won the ball, I was shocked.

Serious respect for him, he knew that playing against Chelsea he needed to put in a defensive shift and he did what he could. Hope he gets a goal soon and he can kick on from there.

Thought yesterday was one of his better performances because he really played for the team and could not do much attacking. Also believe that that the forward lads missed a lot of his runs to give him the ball and thus missed opportunities. We needed to play like team yesterday and we really did that.

my thoughts exactly

I think he looks like he's put a bit of timber on up top. Not as scrawny as last season, should help him in the prem.

Good performance but not worth the $32m we paid.

We didnt pay $32 for him we paid £34 for him theres about a 8 mill difference in that, and i think he is worth every penny, he is wasteful and he has a big mouth but when he is on it, he makes every other player in our team look amateur!!
