Good when he put the effort in look at one of his last games for city v everton away 0/10 performance don't need/want players like that they will cost you more games than winning games fir you

Nail on the head I think. If he joined us now he would be rocking. He said he never really got into the premier league, thought it was a bit too rough, but I think given the extra talent around him now he would have integrated better. Shame we actually sold him rather than loan, though that's assuming he would ever actually want to come back, which I would have thought not. Will likely never be a 'great' player, but certainly one not many top teams would kick our of their squad.

proving my point there mate, after that game the fans turned their backs on him, and hounded him out. i remember his last game for us. he scored did he not against scunthorpe?
