Could only see Robi getting a regular starting place if we played somethin like this

_____________________Hart______________________

Richards_______Toure________Kompany_______Kolarov

________Milner________Toure_________Barry________

_______________Silva________Robinho______________

_____________________Tevez______________________

That front 3 would be good to watch :)

the only issue with our squad at the moment is that no matter what formation i come up with, ive missed someone out.

like your one elanjo, no balo? haha. otherwise its seems a solid team

If you look at the players he's been played with at City, I don't think he's got a better chance to succeed than this year. I don't think it's a coincidence that when Robby went quiet, Ireland suddenly became a superstar. Teams focused on Robby and gave Ireland a lot more space.

Can't see any way they can do that with this edition of the Blues, though. Could build some great chemistry with Tevez and Silva and set the league alight.

This is so true. When Robbie started for us, the other teams didn't really know what to expect and he had a lot less "attention", wasn't marked so tightly and the result was he was fantastic. So teams quickly wised up, got much more physical with him, double marked him all over the place and basically shut him out of the game. His head dropped as he got pissed off with it.

When he plays for Brazil, the opposition can't do this as they have another 9 Robinho's to worry about. He gets ton's of space and plays sublime football.

I really think he will have the opportunity to do that with us, if he stays this season. With Silva, Tevez, Balotelli, Adebayor and Yaya to worry about, defenders can't afford to go following Robinho in packs. And if they do, they'll be left wide open.

It's a mouthwatering prospect, isn't it :-)
