It's amazing how a team can be feeling on a high at one moment, then all of a sudden facing extinction.

It happened to Bury and it could now happen to Rochdale :(.

Hope they don't go bust, lived in Rochdale in the late 70s, early 80s. Used to go watching them when couldn't get to City. Remember seeing Bruce Grobbelar messing about in goal while playing for Crewe. Saw them play Bury home and away in the FA cup, full house at both grounds. Did a belting meat n potato pie n boveril....

Wonder what would happen if a Premier League team offered to "invest as a minority shareholder" ?
Doubt if the Americans will invest as the Wrexham story has been done, successfully.

The Arab States want bigger fish to fry.

Cannot see any European investment ?

The Chinese are pulling out from British clubs.

What if City wanted to be a minority,benevolent investor ? Would it encouraged, or even allowed ?

Was quite a fantastic story when they got promoted after all those years being in Division 4/Division 3/League 2 for something like 34 years, but really sucks that they ended up after 102 years of league football in that hellhole league that is very difficult to get out of and now look where they are.

A proper football club, will be a huge loss if they go completely. Always seemed to have the best looking strips in the EFL as well.

I doubt it. It’d be called our B team.

Not sure Dale fans would want it either, but if it were that or extinction, it might force a change in thinking.
