intrigued on what levels of astonishing i would be looking at though?

For me the picture is incredible for various reasons. His eyes are haunting and look quite disturbing, then there's the fact he has 4 REAL scratched into his arm with a razor, not something you see everyday really, it's just a great picture in my opinion, of a young man with the self belief, we can argue whether it's stupid or not all day but self harm happens, it's nothing new, and it's no more stupid than shooting heroin when you get down to it.

There's a lot of people who talk the talk but don't walk the walk, Richey just proved he lives it, he doesn't just act like a rock star, he was born one.

Give me self harming genius over Chris Bland Martin anyday though.

He just looks silly giving in by giving a reaction.

It was Steve Lamacq, his face is enough to make any man gouge out his arm to be honest.

I take your point but the fact we're discussing it now, I think, shows what an astonishing photo it is. Even if, in your case, it's for all the wrong reasons.

As someone who went out with a self harmer it brings back some dark memory's but going out with me its understandable...I had some sleepless nights in that relationship.

i watched a docu the other day on sky arts. he said the white suit and fake blood he uses on stage is a tribute to miles davis, who was racially attacked outside a jazz club in the 50's

there is a picture of miles with blood all down his suit. i dont have it..
