Rodolfo Borrell leaving City

Pep needs to replace it coaches now be interesting who he brings in! Wasn’t there some rumours Lampard might come in?

Can't knock him for taking that opportunity. Austin is a great place to live and a new challenge. Thanks for everything Rodolfo, been a huge part of our success over Pep. Happy Lillo is back to fill the void him and Enzo will leave.

Is Lillo back? He's not listed on the City website and not seen any media saying he is. Rodolfo has been removed from the coaching staff.

Presume that means city have two vacancies. Wouldn't mind seeing Lillo back as one of the replacements. Would like to see someone new come in too.

Good luck to Rodolfo.

Lillo informally met Pep before the CL final and I think they had a longish tactical chat? But that's about it, don't think he was back full-time.

Good luck Rodolfo.

We wouldn't even give Gundogan a 2 year deal. Bearing in mind we have lost Pep's 2 main coaches and Pep himself leaves in 2 years, with hindsight could you not agree that keeping Gundogan at the club would not have only served to provide short term playing and coaching cover, but also potentially provided the club with an immediate in-house replacement for Pep in 2025?
His wife didn't want to fucking stay in Manchester, how the fuck do people still not understand this?

I see Fabrigas has just retired from football and is fulfilling his Como (Italy) contract by managing the youth teams. IIRC his Barca career never really overlapped with Pep's time but he's definitely a "La Masia" product similar to Arteta.

Gundogan wanted a different country.
