Personally don’t rate him one bit, think he’s average at best, only my opinion of course

Not just yours mate, he doesn’t look the required standard at all.

Look at his role in the following incidents:
Lamella’s goal
Laporte injury
Norwich goal from the corner
One of the Wolves goals
Lack of awareness for Fabinho’s goal (certainly wasn’t on his own for that one though)
In the build up his lack of pace lead to the free kick situation that they scored from and he was nowhere to be seen to close Shelvey down

He lacks pace, doesn’t have quick feet, isn’t quick of thought, daudles on the ball, his forward passing is poor or he doesn’t do it.

He’s been at fault for a lot of things in his short time with us.

Other players (ie. the scapegoats: Nasri Clichy Kolarov Otamendi Gundogan...) would have been fucking hammered for some of the stuff he’s done or not done.

He’s done well in spells and played well in some games but he barely looks at the García/Barry level to me. Now they were both great in two title wins but also lacked at other times. But he has to improve a lot to even be at their level yet.
