Never expected Rodri to get anywhere near it, and it is what it is.

The only one thing that ever so slightly loosely interests me here, is reading the bullshit justification the English journalist of choice gives for not voting for Rodri. The rest, meh.

True & most winners show their appreciation to other teammates unless your name is Ronaldo.
However, some players deserve the accolade for their personal achievements on the pitch & the ability to do something other players haven't.

The unbeaten run he achieved of 74 games was incredible. Almost all players have ups & downs in their quality of play but not Rodri, his high level of consistancy for club & country has been exceptional which not many players have the mentality & physicality to do.

Rodri fully deserves the acknowledgement by his fellow players.

But without your teammates, you will not be standing out in games, all of the hard work and the dirty work your teammates put in is why you stand out, Rodri is the most down-to-earth player and will be the first to say it's my teammates that got me here.
