Awards like this only boost your image rights and the Fifa and Uefa media rights.

True & most winners show their appreciation to other teammates unless your name is Ronaldo.
However, some players deserve the accolade for their personal achievements on the pitch & the ability to do something other players haven't.

The unbeaten run he achieved of 74 games was incredible. Almost all players have ups & downs in their quality of play but not Rodri, his high level of consistancy for club & country has been exceptional which not many players have the mentality & physicality to do.

Rodri fully deserves the acknowledgement by his fellow players.

Other than that Kane is the only other one clearly in the wrong order compared with the betting, but I don't think it's terrible to have him above Haaland. He scored more goals than Haaland, and was top scorer at the Euros, reaching the final.

The problem I have with including international achievements is it puts someone who might be exceptional but just so happens to play for a poorer national team at a huge disadvantage. In other words they might as well just tell Erling to not bother applying if his nation doesn’t qualify for anything.

From Spanish media. No other media/journalist has said anything , normally Fabrizio tweets something but he hasn’t. The media saying Vini has won are mostly Madrid media. Marca etc.
