In the end of the day, it's just an award based on the opinion/feelings of some other people. Who anyone thinks is the best will always be debated since every person thinks and values different things. With that said, its obviously a huge honor to win it and I hope Rodri does!

Rodri going 74 games unbeaten speaks in his favour. And also, winning 8 trophies in 2 seasons while being recognized as the best player in the CL, Nations League and the Euros.

Rodri is a bit underrated by silly English pundits.

Absolutely agree although I have a £100 bet with a mate who is convinced it would be Bellingham so anyone but that Cnut Oh an when I mentioned Rodders he was like , naaahhh Fkin come on Rodri
